5-13 years age range
Come and gain some skills directly with our amazing therapy team.
With a goal to strengthen, fine-tune, or learn new motor skills (fine and gross) so Kids can play and participate more confidently in everyday activities. Goals can include:
Get around more independently (stairs, uneven surfaces) Ride a bike, trike, or scooter Dressing skills such as buttons, socks & shoes Use cutlery Develop cooking skills Benefits: Provides you with a sense of purpose, personal and professional growth. Make a positive contribution to the Cerebral Palsy community. Support you to make a career change, explore new experiences, and make new social connections. Develop confidence and build new skills. Gain hands-on experience working with children and adults with cerebral palsy and similar conditions. Dates & Times:
30/09/2024 - 04/10/2024, 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Support the amazing Port Mac therapists.
Role requirements: 16 years and above. NDIS Worker Screening. Working with Children Check (NSW). Working with Vulnerable People (ACT). Important information:
