We are seeking to employ an inspiring and experienced Tutor of Voice in a casual role commencing Term 1, 2025, at our Corio Campus. The role consists of tutoring in both small group and 1:1 contexts.
The successful applicant requires:
A current Victorian WWCC (Employment) and a National Police Records CheckA proven record of excellence in tutoring and performance skills gained through training or experienceA dynamic manner with the ability to relate well to students of all abilities and to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staffExperience in tuition of individual students and small groups within our Classroom Instrumental ProgrammeParticipation in rehearsals, concerts, and music eventsEnsemble direction and conducting skills will be considered advantageousVIT registration and a music education or tertiary music degree will be highly desiredIn the eventuation of a formal interview, candidates should expect to be observed tutoring several 1 to 1 lessons, with students ranging in experience and age (Years 2-12)Availability for our Middle School Music Program (4:00pm-5:00pm on Mondays) will be highly desirableFor further details and/or to apply online, visit the employment page on our website: www.ggs.vic.edu.au/employment.
