12 Month Fixed Term opportunity (Parental Leave cover).
As the Visual Merchandising Specialist  for Australia's most iconic drinks retailer, you help ensure Dan Murphy's is the preferred brand for all drinking experiences and help our customers discover a world of new and exciting drinks.
You will be integral to elevating the in store experience and the visual representation of all value and discovery campaigns.
You must be a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, as well as having extensive experience in end to end visual merchandising principles and production.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role: Lead all Brand & Value campaigns (Tier A & B) by developing and executing inspiring best-in-class in-store experiences through visual merchandising, window displays, propping and product displays that ultimately drive increased footfall and sales.
Build strong partnerships with Operations team, T&C, State/ Store Managers and VM champs to coach, incentivise and help successfully execute high quality and VM compliant campaigns including creation of mock shop, team roadshows, internal communications, store audits/ walk throughs & VM incentives.
Lead the evaluation of each campaign, partnering with the Marketing Effectiveness team to ensure learnings are identified for future campaigns and optimisations are made.
Continuously leverage data & insights to drive customer-first solutions and ensure campaign planning is always  optimised.
Lead external creative agencies and suppliers from brief to execution for in store campaign activations; ensuring all is delivered to brief,  on time and to budget.
Provide event team support and guidance to ensure the styling of events is per VM standards and playbook.
Drive improvement in our VM standards across all stores, working cross functionally across the business.
Forge collaborative working relationships with key departments; including broader Marketing, Operations, State/Store Managers and Merchandiser team.
Present in store insights, learnings and results to wider business through weekly meeting cadence and demonstrate ongoing thought leadership and subject matter expertise in the VM/in store experience space.
Lead budgets for in store campaign costs; including frequent tenders across suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness.
Champion brand wide sustainability efforts through appropriate in store activations.
Manage all store queries through 'ZenDesk' platform that are relevant to campaign activation.
Shop the competition and research trends to ensure that Dan Murphy's is the destination for visual impact.
Role model the Dan Murphy's Values and Ways of Working.
Work flexibly and work cross functionally with the broader marketing team to support execution of initiatives outside your core role, when required.
Qualifications Now let's talk about you:  Minimum 5 years experience in retail marketing and Visual Merchandising.
End to end production management.
Retail Project Management (stakeholder management).
Tertiary qualifications in business and/or marketing preferred.
Proficient in entire Adobe Creative Suite and Google Sheets.
Knowledgeable and confident in the world of Liquor.
