Visual Arts Coeducator Ngutu College is an independent, not-for-profit, socially-just college on Kaurna Country in Woodville North, South Australia. The outcomes of these Coeducator roles at Ngutu College encompass various aspects. The most crucial objective is to foster a sense of well-being, belonging, and a strong identity for all children. Additionally, understanding and addressing learning and socio-emotional needs by identifying individual learning points and supporting growth.
The following role would be ideal for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist who is passionate about and understands how visual arts can positively influence the lives of young people.
The successful applicant will collaborate closely with our Visual Arts Educator, Elder in Residence, educator staff, and Coeducators (SSOs). A high level of collegiality and collaboration is imperative. In addition to classroom-based work, our Coeducators support the learning and well-being of young people with offsite activities such as our daily transport services, OSHC, camp, and excursions.
This role is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only. Fraction of Time: 0.4-1.0.
Start date: January 2025.
Type: 12-month Fixed Term contract with the opportunity to extend by mutual agreement.
Salary: $58,000-$62,000
