Administration Officer (Medical Administration) Vision Eye Institute (VEI) is Australia's largest private provider of ophthalmic services.

With 17 eye clinics and 11 day surgeries across Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland, we are ideally positioned to provide services to a large number of patients in both metropolitan and regional areas.

The opportunity Our Melbourne clinic (St Kilda Road) is a refractive, cataract and corneal specialist.
We provide premium service to our patients, from the comfort of the clinic to the state-of-the-art technology used for our refractive procedures.
The team of clinical and administration staff provide the highest quality service.

We have a full time Administration Officer role available!

Your day-to-day will involve: Manage patient appointments and liaise with other medical professionals End-to-end processing of medical records management, inbound/outbound queries and patient appointments and surgical bookings Carry out financial tasks: banking, invoicing, accounts, debtors, and reconciliation Greet patients upon arrival providing a high end level of customer service Use the patient management system to capture relevant patient details and transmit correspondence Provide reception and general administration support to the Doctors, Nurses, Optometrists and Practice Manager Assist with the smooth running of the day-to-day services of the clinic including maintaining the professional appearance and cleanliness of the patient and work area You'll bring to the role: Excellent customer service, communication and computer literacy Collaborative team work and a helping hand Multi-tasking skills and excellent time management Previous medical/healthcare industry experience Our vision for our people: We provide a flexible, inclusive, diverse workplace which supports work life balance, provides further/on-going training, career development opportunities and an ongoing commitment to strive for a greater sense of purpose in everything we do.
