Salary: Available upon enquiry. About the Role: We are seeking an AHPRA registered Senior Occupational Therapist to join our client's growing team of medical professionals. In this role, you will work with patients recovering from injuries and disabilities, helping them regain their abilities to resume work. Duties will include managing the therapy team, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, evaluating work and home environments, and creating tailored rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct physical and psychological assessments of clients and develop or follow treatment plans.Assess home and work environments and recommend necessary adjustments.Advise clients on adaptive equipment to assist with daily activities.Develop rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.Prepare clients for a successful return to work.Educate caregivers and family members on effective patient care.Evaluate therapy results and client progress.Maintain professional knowledge and stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy.Comply with all federal, state, and local certification requirements.Evaluate clients' physical and mental health conditions.Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an Australian university.Current certificate of registration with AHPRA.Compliance with state healthcare regulatory requirements.Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and rehabilitation programs.Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work with clients of diverse personalities.Proficiency in computer use for documentation and communication.Capability to assess patient conditions and implement treatment plans.Benefits: Fuel compensation for travelPaid leave over the Christmas periodFlexible working hours with availability for weekend or holiday shiftsOffice perks, including coffee and snacksReferral incentive programMore About Our Client: Our client is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to helping patients recover and thrive.
