About the Opportunity As our Vision Australia Radio Grants Writer, you will work in collaboration with Vision Australia Radio (VAR) Management and team members to ensure that a planned approach is taken to the development and coordination of grant proposals, submissions, reporting and acquittals.
In this role you will also: Assist the VAR Manager and stakeholders in seeking grant opportunities Write and submit grant proposals, interim reports, and acquittals accurately and timely.
Conduct research to identify potential new funding sources aligned with strategic goals.
View the Position Description for this role About You As part of the Vision Australia Radio team, you should have relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in grant writing or related fields.
In addition, a high level of administration, planning, time management and attention to detail skills is encouraged.
You will also have: Relevant experience in community media, not-for-profit and/or disability services An understanding and appreciation of specifics when dealing with people who have the lived experience of blindness and low vision.
Demonstrated sound communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and negotiate successful outcomes.
