We are seeking a Vineyard Manager to join our team at our Kingston on Murray Vineyard in the Riverland, SA. This full-time position reports to the Vineyard Manager – Riverland and assumes full responsibility for management of the 850ha site, including operational support, implementation of work programs, meeting yield and quality targets, supervision of vineyard teams and ensuring operations are completed safely, within budget.
This position will suit someone who has previous leadership experience working in vineyards, horticultural or on agricultural properties. You will have staff management experience and also understand the importance of safe work practices.
The ideal candidate will enjoy being an integral part of a dynamic team, will work to a high standard, possess exceptional people management skills, solid numeracy, literacy and communication skills together with excellent time management skills.
Skills and experience: Experience in warm climate vineyard management. Solutions focused with a can-do attitude. Mechanically minded with the initiative and ability to problem solve. Relevant degree or qualification in Viticulture. Excellent technical understanding of viticulture. Solid understanding of regulations affecting viticulture and grape supply practices.
