About the Role The village support role provides cleaning and other resident related services in accordance with cleaning schedules and under the direction of the Village Manager.
Key Role Accountabilities: Align one's workplace behaviour in accordance with the WMQL Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland Limited, Vision, Mission and Values. Provide cleaning for areas as per schedule and as required by the Village Manager. Follow all WMQ Workplace Health and Safety and Infection Control procedures and guidelines. Drive the village vehicle in a responsible, lawful, safe and courteous manner, being responsible for the safe loading, securing and unloading of passengers and the safe storage of equipment whilst maintaining a client-centred focus at all times. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and use equipment and chemicals in a safe manner as directed and in accordance with relevant policy. Maintain cleaning rooms and store areas in a clean and tidy state, with chemicals stored as per MSDS. Report on all work, health and safety hazards and incidents as they emerge. Set up activity rooms for functions and clean the rooms after functions. Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by Manager – Wheller on the Park Village.About You Experience in providing cleaning services and demonstrated practical knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials.Understanding and ability to work with seniors.Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision to meet customer service requirements.Effective interpersonal and communication skills.The ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism ensuring that the dignity and rights of guests and families are respected at all times.Proven high level teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve objectives and promote positive working relationships. What makes a difference for us: Proof of Vaccination Status as required by Legislation, Health Directives or WMQ Policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy.Current Driver's Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.Why Join Us We value diversity, strive for inclusion, and come together to walk alongside those in need to provide hope and compassion.
