Fortress Investment Group (Australia) PTY Ltd – Sydney NSWThis is a newly created position to establish and manage the capital formation and investor relations function for Fortress funds in Australia and across the Asia Pac region. This position will work directly with the most senior executives and portfolio managers within the firm.Responsibilities Include:Attract new assets and raise capital for various funds across the firm, while maintaining and developing all current investor relationships.Work closely with Fortress's Sydney based investment team in regards to local market dynamics, investor relationships, strategic partnerships and networking events.Participate in internal research and portfolio review calls and prepare notes on current portfolio makeup and attribution of performance for communication to existing investors.Provide in-depth technical expertise about the fund investment strategy, performance and policies for existing and potential clients.Assist in the production of investor communications, marketing materials, diligence questionnaires, and other bespoke presentations to support the client-facing effort.Make presentations to existing and potential clients.Interface with internal groups, including legal, accounting, operations, and compliance, in relation to investor queries and reporting.Assist in all efforts related to firm sponsored conferences and represent Fortress at external conferences.Skills Required:In-depth understanding of the firm's investment philosophy and process.Understanding of portfolio management and the sales process.Technical knowledge of hedge fund operations, the financial markets and the trading environment.Superior communication and presentation skills.Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Summary of role requirements:Looking for candidates available to work:Monday: Morning, AfternoonTuesday: Morning, AfternoonWednesday: Morning, AfternoonThursday: Morning, AfternoonFriday: Morning, AfternoonMore than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role.
