About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to assist the growth and development of the Veterinary business.
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager is responsible for Business Development across Western Victoria.
This role will be revenue and growth focused with strong customer engagement through collaboration with the operational leaders in the Veterinary laboratories.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the existing clients in the region, while exploring new opportunities and being a key customer relationship manager for some of our Regional and Corporate Animal Health clients across Australia.
Duties and Responsibilities Manage and grow veterinary accounts by promoting the services of Gribbles Veterinary Pathology.Develop and execute a work schedule to effectively service client needs, ensuring tasks are prioritized and resources are utilized efficiently.Conduct 5-6 daily appointments with decision-makers, including follow-up and marketing efforts, to maximize client engagement and opportunities.Maintain regular contact with key accounts, identify potential clients, and prioritize visits based on business volume and potential.Maintain accurate client records, document sales activities, and manage sales opportunities effectively.Assess client needs, provide tailored information about our services, and demonstrate strong negotiation skills to drive commercial outcomes.Prepare and submit weekly territory plans, sales reports, and expenses in a timely manner, while actively participating in quality improvement and risk management initiatives.About You: You are a business developer with a background in animal health or a good understanding of the animal pharmaceutical or pathology sectors.
