The VFX Production Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating projects working closely with VFX Producers, Supervisors, HODs, and artists.
Responsibilities: Manage and implement tasks and targets crucial to the delivery of projects on time and on budget.Track and manage the workflow through the CG and 2D departments, meeting internal and external deadlines.Organize dailies & meetings, taking notes.Follow up on information shared in dailies to ensure work is undertaken in a timely manner.Communicate information quickly and succinctly to crew and other departments.Daily reports on crew/job should also be communicated to Producers/Supervisor and Production Manager.Ensure production database (Shotgun, Farmer Wife) is kept updated daily with notes, bookings, and critical information.Anticipate and communicate issues to the Producer and Supervisor to resolve problems quickly.Oversee execution of client deliveries and deliver to client as required/requested by relevant Producers, on a case-by-case basis.Encourage and maintain a positive, upbeat, and professional production office, being proactive and solution-oriented for all members of the team, including welcoming new artists.Assist Production with additional, ad hoc duties as required.Skills required: Organization: Ability to multitask and prioritize different tasks and jobs.Communication: Ability to communicate effectively, providing feedback and working within a team towards a goal.Knowledge of VFX pipeline & software: Understanding the artistic and technical processes through which VFX is made and the software used with each discipline.Resilience: Staying calm under pressure, managing tight deadlines, and understanding how to read the room in a fast-paced environment.You will work with Alt's team of producers, supervisors, and artists to provide our clients with exceptional quality of work and experience.
