The Role: As the Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the hospital. You will be responsible for managing the clinic's administrative functions, optimizing workflows, and ensuring a positive and efficient work environment. You will also work closely with our team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team of veterinary professionals and support staff. Foster a positive team culture and maintain high morale.
Operational Management: Oversee clinic schedules, ensuring efficient patient care and minimal wait times.
Financial Management: Manage the clinic's budgets, including overseeing expenses, billing, and inventory control. Develop strategies to increase profitability.
Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and patient care. Address client concerns and feedback promptly.
Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure that the clinic adheres to all relevant regulations and industry standards. Maintain protocols for hygiene, safety, and health.
Marketing & Community Engagement: Promote the hospital's services, events, and community outreach efforts. Build the clinic's profile within the Toowoomba region.
Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in practice management or a similar leadership role, preferably within the veterinary or healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of veterinary operations, including financial management, HR practices, and inventory control.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in practice management software is advantageous.
