The Opportunity: As the first point of contact for our clients, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for both our clients and their pets. You will be responsible for managing front-desk operations, handling client communications, and providing support to our veterinary team.
Key Responsibilities: Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism. Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information and scheduling appointments. Manage patient records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately maintained. Process payments, handle transactions, and manage invoicing. Assist with managing the clinic's appointment schedule and coordinating with veterinary staff. Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and maintaining inventory of office supplies. Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming. About you: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (ideally within a veterinary or medical setting). Qualification in animal handling or veterinary nursing would be beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to provide exceptional customer service. Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure. A genuine love for animals and a compassionate attitude towards pet owners. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
