Veterinary Services & Animal Welfare (Farming, Animals & Conservation) Full time Have you been fantasizing about a new role? Perth Animal Eye Hospital is seeking an experienced, self-motivated veterinary nurse to join our energetic, dynamic team. We pride ourselves on our on-the-job training and ongoing learning support.
This full-time position is based in a busy ophthalmology referral hospital (the only one in WA) in the Southern Suburbs consisting of 2 specialists, 2 residents, 1 registrar, and 6 nurses. Our purpose-built hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and anaesthesia equipment. We believe in giving our nurses opportunities for growth and utilising them to their full potential.
The working hours will be 38 hours worked Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM with an on-call roster of one weekend every 5 to 6 weeks. The on-call roster is for emergencies only as we are not open for routine appointments during the weekend. There is more than meets the eye with this position, as it will cover a range of aspects of surgical nursing, anaesthesia, customer service, patient care, and of course, ophthalmology.
