About the role The Program Coordinator for Nursing supports the vocational education and training (VET) programs in Nursing for the University. The position supports the development, implementation, evaluation, and management for the Nursing program. The position significantly contributes to preparing students for nursing careers and improving the healthcare workforce. Key ResponsibilitiesLead curriculum development, oversee faculty training, and implementing innovative teaching methods.Liaise between educational institutions, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies.Manage resources and administration for the Diploma of Nursing programs on the Broome, Sydney and Fremantle Campuses, builds community relationships, and acts as a primary contact for university academics.Provide efficient oversight, coordination and delivery of all VET Nursing qualifications.Ensureall compliance standards for the Diploma of Nursing program with the Enrolled Nurse Accreditation Standards (ENAS) are achieved.Provide expert advice on VET Nursing qualifications as the discipline leader and oversees the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of the Nursing program, ensuring that VET programs are consistent and compliant with VET Quality Framework and standards.Operate as a subject matter expert and in conjunction with Regulatory Assurance to support validation and moderation activities.Deliver teaching and conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions and clinical sessions, including associated marking and assessments.Qualifications, skills & experienceA minimum of a tertiary qualification in Nursing with relevant experience in industry relevant to your qualification.Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with no conditions or undertakings related to performance or behaviour.A TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be willing to complete as part of their employment.Demonstrated experience of working within of the current standards of RTO requirements.Advanced understanding of VET delivery and RTO compliance and funding requirements and an understanding of the Australian training environment including Training Packages and reporting requirements.Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in the VET sector.Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to convey information with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated operational and project management capabilities, adept at analysing complex issues,formulating actionable solutions, and successfully overseeing multiple concurrent projects frominitiation to completion.Highly effective organizational and time management skills, with a proven track record of adapting toshifting priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and successfully managing multiple complex projects andtasks simultaneously.Experience in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and other relevant applications for creating training materials, managing records, and reporting.BenefitsOn-site gym and fitness programs available.Located in historic Fremantle.Within walking distance from public transport.How to applyPlease apply online with a resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
