Initially as part of the AtoN team, with a number of significant upcoming projects and a wide range of vessels, civil plant and machinery required on our projects, we are looking for an experienced Vessel Maintenance Supervisor who can hit the ground running in the team. Duties: Command and safety of the vessel and its crew Conduct vessel inductions, toolbox meetings, safety inspections and risk assessments Ensure vessel crew are familiar and comply with all policy and procedures specified in the safety management plans Voyage planning including resourcing, equipment, fuel, weather monitoring Compliance with safety regulations and laws Supervision and assistance with maintenance Maintenance of vessel, plant and ancillary equipment as per programmed maintenance schedule and budgetary constraints Compilation of maintenance and operational reports as required Supervision of personnel undertaking and assisting with maintenance About you: Based in Adelaide, South Australia with full working rights. Great work ethic, 'can do' attitude - self-motivated, hard-working, punctual and reliable Flexible to work around weather, tides and shipping which will include night works and weekend work as required Must be committed to Safety and Environmental compliance Teamwork - works well in a small team with minimal supervision Communication - effective communication skills, both oral and written Must pass a full pre-employment medical including functional capacity fitness evaluation and drug and alcohol screening.
