Process Worker / Masker Location : Adelaide, SA Pay Rate : $27-30 Per Hour Work Environment : Supportive team with opportunities for growth About the Role: We are seeking a Masking Labourer to join our Aerospace Manufacturing team.
In this role, you will assist with masking, part marking, and preparing customer products for surface treatments under supervision.

Key Responsibilities: Masking & Part Marking : Accurately apply masking materials to customer products based on internal work orders and drawings, prior to chemical treatments, priming, and painting.
Demasking & Cleanup : Remove masking materials post-processing and ensure all components are clean and ready for the next stage.
Touch-up Painting : Perform minor touch-ups as needed, following feedback from the quality control team.
Workplace Maintenance : Maintain a clean and organised masking room, ensuring adherence to LEAN 6S principles .
Stock Management : Monitor stock levels of masking aids and notify the Site Manager when replenishment is required.
Part Marking : Assist with printing decals and part marking according to customer specifications.
Skills & Experience: No formal qualifications required ; basic experience in deburring, blending, or surface finishing is preferred.
Attention to Detail : Ability to follow detailed instructions and drawings, ensuring accuracy in masking and part marking.
Strong Work Ethic : Motivated to meet production targets, with a commitment to maintaining 85% 'hands-on' time during work hours.
Safety Focused : Commitment to following health, safety, and environmental policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Fine Motor Skills : Ability to work with small parts and delicate materials, with a focus on precision and quality.
