Venue Officer

ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify possible venues that can be utilized as a RO base and Early Polling Places (EPP).Identify all requirements, services, and supplies needed to make venues fit for purpose.Liaise with Community Resource Centres and Local Governments regarding RO bases.Liaise with the Department of Education, Catholic Schools, and Independent schools.Liaison with venue providers and/or leasing agents to confirm specific venue requirements.Assist with finalizing leasing arrangements.Identify and review existing enrollment data and GIS mapping to identify polling venues.Review historical information regarding which venues were used in the past for both state and federal events. Assist with maintaining data.Review historical information to identify any issues with polling venues previously utilized that may need to be investigated.Research and identify alternative venues that may be used. Create and maintain data.
