Due to the continued growth and expansion of the business, they are looking to secure a customer-focused Venue General Manager to join and lead the team and partner group management to achieve venue targets.

The Role
As the leader of this multi-faceted venue, your primary role will be to drive the venue's operation and overall success, providing leadership to various venue teams.
You will be working closely with the Group Operations Manager & Group Production and responsibilities will include:
Foster a friendly, hard-working, fun, creative, learning environment where knowledge and experience are shared with the team and across group locations.Lead and mentor the venue's many teams, including Food and Beverage, Production, Facilities, Packing, and Office Support, providing operational oversight for the Venue.Work within financial budgets, meet KPIs, and build sustainable revenue.Oversee the successful execution of the calendar of events, festivals, and promotions at the Venue.Foster positive team cultures with a solid focus on staff development.Provide input into Digital Marketing, including Social Media Engagement, SEO, and EDM's messaging to support brand and community engagement.Work closely with HR to assist in recruitment and onboarding new team members for the Venue.Ensure all OH&S requirements are met, and a safe work environment is maintained for all staff and visitors.Ensure teams maintain high levels of compliance with hygiene, food safety, and other legislative requirements, including licensing.Manage the essential services and the security of the property.Support the group leadership team on various projects.Your Ideal Experience
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented professional who will thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
Must be hands-on and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics, and dependability.
You will have sound decision-making, communication, interpersonal, time management, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with management to organise, plan, and achieve venue and group goals.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience with above-listed responsibilities in a large, dynamic hospitality/entertainment/retail operation.Developed managerial skills and the ability to motivate, influence, manage, and engage a variety of stakeholders.Excellent financial and budgeting knowledge and developed business acumen, including analysis, strategy, and delivery of revenue.A customer-centric attitude and the knowledge and vision to provide an exceptional customer experience.A genuine passion for hospitality with a hands-on approach to lead and manage all aspects of the venue.Understanding of regulatory compliance across food, beverage, and food production.A strategic mindset focused on incremental revenue growth.Strong emphasis on training and development.The Offer Excellent Base salary + super + bonusWork with a high-performing cultureThe opportunity to further develop and hone your skills in a fast-paced, performing, and professional environment continually positively enhancing our culture.If you are interested, please apply today, or for a confidential discussion, please reach out to Aiden Szot on 0422 927 603 or ******.
