As the Venue Manager, you will be reporting to the F&B Operations Manager, responsible for the entire venue operation in partnership with the Executive Chef ensuring a positive and exciting environment where flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount.

A few of your responsibilities: Impeccable standards of professionalism and a commitment to guest and team experienceBuild a guest culture to continuously deliver a thrilling experience in line with The Star's ValuesManaging day-to-day operations, meeting the quality, standards, and expectations of the guests dailyReview and analyse the daily operational needs maintaining beverage, labour, product and expenses on budgetAttract and develop talent and own the performance of your teamWhat are we looking for: Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop large teams including succession planning, retention, and growth strategiesDemonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management, controlling labour costs and operating expensesExperience in developing productive relationships and managing and driving changeExperience in managing high-end award-winning restaurants, bars, or outletsFlexible availability to meet the demands of a 24/7 businessAbout you: You are hands-on in your operational approach and passionate about developing your career. You leverage your leadership skills to encourage and support your team in delivering exceptional and personalised service to guests and value the ability to showcase the best produce Australia has to offer.
