The Job Role We are looking for a qualified and experienced Automotive or Vehicle Painters. This role is an excellent opportunity for a person with trade skills to join a successful, long standing, small engineering business with multiple manufacturing capabilities.   
Duties & Responsibilities Abrasive blast and prepare metal surfaces for undercoating / primingTape off, fill in, and sand back in preparation for paintingSpray paint in enamel or 2 pac, water, and oil-based paints and primersTouch up paint jobs on repairsSpray paint spare partsClean / maintain blast gear, plant, and toolingClean / maintain paint gear and plantEnsure a high standard of qualityQualifications & Requirements Experience with prepping and painting different media such as aluminum, fibreglass, steel, and woodExperience in a variety of practices and techniques related to blasting and paintingKnowledge of operating general paint / blast shop equipment and toolsFamiliarity with executing blast / painting operations in compliance with safety policiesAbility to use heavy machinery, such as forklifts and cranes would be an advantageSalary  The annual salary ranges from $57,000 - $72,000.About The Company Carta & Co Pty Ltd is the largest Australian manufacturer of Cane Transporters for the Australian Sugar Cane Industry.
