We are seeking Field Service Technicians to join our team, who are responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of onshore wellhead equipment. The ideal candidate is a strong team player, with a focus on working safely, good ethics, and a positive attitude in keeping with our values.
Based in Chinchilla, Queensland, this is a 2 week on, 2 week off drive in, drive out (DIDO) rotation giving you that work-life balance. If not living in Southeast Queensland, we offer fly in, fly out (FIFO) to Brisbane airport with transport to be provided to the Chinchilla base.
All applicants must be authorized to work in Australia and will be subject to a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.
Duties and Responsibilities Install, service, pressure test and maintain API 6A Wellhead and Frac equipment. Prepare installation and service reports, communicate effectively with customer representatives. Assess and report hazards and promote a strong HSE culture. Maintain service equipment and vehicles to the highest standards. Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations and procedures. Understand and interpret technical drawings and procedures. Troubleshoot equipment issues and develop solutions in consultation with Field Supervisor. Generate on-site service tickets and wellsite reports to allow timely and accurate invoicing. Skills and Experience Year 12 or equivalent education is essential. A trade qualification in technical or mechanical engineering highly desirable. Experience in the Oil and Gas industry desirable. Basic computer skills are a must. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with pressure systems is desirable. Current valid driver's license is essential. Heavy Rigid truck license desirable.
