As CoinJar's UX/UI Designer, you will research, test, and seek continuous improvement of our cryptocurrency exchange app and web platforms. You will be embedded in the Engineering and Product Team to collaboratively design, iterate, and release new features that our customers will love. Successful applicants will thrive in a dynamic work environment, taking ownership of design projects throughout the product lifecycle from ideation, prototyping, user testing, to production. You will contribute research and design insights to help the team deliver an ever-improving product.

What You Will Be Doing Design end-to-end flows and prototypesProduce multiple design concepts, balancing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail and when to make sketches/prototypesWork with the team to define Design success metrics and take charge of achieving themTransform customer feedback and data metrics into innovative concepts to improve products and featuresIterate and implement design collaboratively with the Engineering and Product TeamEngage in daily problem-solving and design reviews as a core part of the Frontend teamCollaborate with the Product Manager to impact the product roadmapMinimum Requirements 3+ years of experience in professional Product DesignA portfolio featuring examples of product design workExperience designing consumer-facing experiences for web (or mobile)High-level thinking about product strategy and clearly articulating design decisionsUnderstanding of technical implications in design decisionsFluency in Figma or similar prototyping toolsCollaborative mindset, embracing input with a desire for continuous iteration and improvementNice To Haves Relevant experience or interest in financial productsProduct design experience with mobile apps (with a portfolio to show)Interest in trading or crypto appsWe have a flexible approach to working, aiming to meet at least 1 day a week in the office for collaboration.
