ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Adviser to join Our Client's Business & Tax team in Townsville. As a Senior Adviser, you will take on a range of responsibilities and be an integral part of a high-performing team. You will be exposed to various clients and entities, providing hands-on technical advice while developing your leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements for sole traders, companies, trusts, and partnerships for review by senior management. Handle income tax return preparation for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships. Assist with business activity statement preparation and client support. Conduct workpaper preparation to support financial reporting. Process journals into client accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Liaise with the ATO to address various client matters, including payment arrangements. Conduct research and assist in the preparation of advice and file notes. ABOUT YOU
CA or Part CA equivalent qualified. Strong background in business advisory and tax services. Relevant tertiary or post-graduate qualification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and deliver innovative solutions.
