About the Role:
Burke Shire Council is seeking a skilled Casual Mechanic to join our team for a short-term, 4 – 5 month engagement.
This role focuses exclusively on servicing vehicles and plant equipment in our Burketown Depot Workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled servicing for Council's fleet and plant equipment.
Ensure all vehicles and machinery are maintained in optimal working condition.
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
Accurately document servicing activities and maintain records in accordance with policies.
What You'll Bring:
Trade qualification as a Mechanic or Diesel Fitter.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Current Driver's License (mandatory).
