In the role of Manager (Industry Relations), you will play a key role in Program Management and Delivery within the Program Delivery and Operations Branch. The position contributes to the management of significant relationships with industry peak bodies in Queensland and across Australia.
We are seeking a Manager (Industry Relations) to join our team based in Brisbane for a permanent opportunity.
Mandatory Qualifications and Conditions • Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Requirements of the Role Stakeholder Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with content providers and various internal and external stakeholders. Communicates in a clear, succinct and deliberate manner, adjusting the message so that it resonates with different stakeholders and encourages collaboration. Demonstrated experience of successful collaboration across industry sectors/government. Makes Insightful Decisions: Gains insight into issues by researching and analysing the available information in a critical manner, clearly describes the rationale behind decisions and works with others to recognise potential bias. Strategic mindset, capable of analysing complex issues, risks, and opportunities, and providing timely and well-researched advice to executive management. Leadership and Management: Demonstrated experience in leading teams, mentoring staff, and effectively managing human resources. Communications: Demonstrated experience in preparing executive level correspondence, briefing notes, cabinet submissions, speaking points, and presentations.
