Utilities Vehicle and Concrete Equipment SpecialistReporting to the Operations Manager of Jacon Equipment & Comet Equipment, this position will be primarily responsible for working with aftermarket support for technical needs for utility vehicles, concrete pumping equipment, concrete transportation equipment, stackers, and water tanks for mobile equipment nationally, and sometimes internationally.
We encourage all trades that wish to learn to apply as we will train you. This role will involve the excitement of being involved with new equipment going to market and supporting the current fleet operational. The position does involve travel to mine sites, civil construction sites, and other areas where our equipment operates.
The expectation of this role is to engage in higher-skilled activities for equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis. Predelivery work and service on occasions will be needed. There is also an active hire fleet where pre-hire and de-hire inspections are needed, as well as on-site support.
Key responsibilities: This role is an active role with 60-70% field exposure.Provide technical support to customers, both internal and external.Advise and give feedback to the factory based on customer feedback.Training of clients and commissioning of equipment.Perform repairs and maintenance based on requests from customers.Conduct pre-hire and de-hire inspection reports for equipment.Test, adjust, and diagnose faults.Perform root cause analyses of parts that are failing in the field, along with inputs and advice on warranty claims.Coordinate with the sales team, factory engineering, supply chain, and customers of our products.Install modification kits and check installation instructions from the factory.Plan and audit site maintenance, making recommendations on best practice site maintenance programs.Build training material.Other duties as required.The position is based in Sydney, Newcastle, or Brisbane; however, it can be flexible for the correct candidate.
