An exciting 12-month fixed term contract opportunity has become available for a User Experience Designer. This role will see you leading the design of digital experiences at AusNet, working with stakeholders to define, analyse, and design improved user journeys and validate or ideate through user testing and customer feedback.
With a hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Southbank, Melbourne and is part of the Customer Experience team. This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Key contribution to delivery of Customer Roadmap through ongoing improvement of user experiences across our digital platforms.Creation and design of UX designs, wireframes & prototypes ready for user (customer) testing and development.Utilise analytics and user feedback data to inform and refine design decisions.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of UX processes and designs in line with best practice.Coordinate with stakeholders to align design activities with project timelines and goals.Working with SMEs and lead service designer to understand pain points for improvement and priorities within the Customer teams.Working directly with marketing/comms on content design across all forms/experiences.Coordinate and conduct user testing, analysing and capturing feedback and observations to iterate into improved designs & experiences.Work directly with other UX designers on projects, review and approve wireframes.You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Bachelor of Design, or similar (preferred).A customer-centric attitude and the unreserved desire to encourage customer dedication.Experience with usability testing tools and methodologies.Experience with project management tools like JIRA.Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.Familiarity with WCAG2.1 rating guidelines and (ISO22458:2020) standards required.Experience in similar role in Consulting or Energy Sector.A real place to belong.
