UON Energy for Every Future UON is a Western Australian integrated energy company providing turnkey energy and water solutions to the mining sector and beyond. Central to this is helping our customers on their decarbonisation journey utilising the technology, skills and real experience of team members across the business.
UON's business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON's Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager to lead our Energy team in Kalgoorlie.
Your main responsibilities will include: Drive continuous improvement across products, solutions, and processes, ensuring lessons learned are shared across the organisation. Facilitate collaboration between departments to enhance teamwork and communication. Ensure efficient utilisation and management of plant, equipment, and fleet assets. Lead, train, and support team members, manage performance, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to organisational policies. Manage budgets, costs, and profitability, ensuring compliance with procurement practices and achieving business targets. Build and maintain strong client relationships, act as a key escalation point, and enhance client experiences. Enforce compliance with WHSE policies, procedures, and risk management practices while promoting a strong safety culture. Assess project risks, methods, and proposals, ensuring adherence to quality, environmental, and asset management standards. Provide technical direction and support to sales efforts while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Promote organisational values, fostering teamwork, diversity, and inclusion in all business areas. Skills & Experience Tertiary qualifications, trade certificate or significant industry experience. Strong client relationships through excellence in quality service delivery and financial management. A minimum of 5-years leadership experience, preferably in the mining services or related industries. Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management.
