An exciting entry-level position has become available for a full-time permanent Customer Service Officer to join our team based in Mulgrave.

About the role
Within a large and growing team, with full on-the-job training, our new Customer Service Officer will become responsible for liaising with customers and internal departments to process customer orders.

Additional responsibilities will include:
Process sales and inventory transactions Create and maintain customer, supplier, and product files in our ERP (JD Edwards) Monitor distribution of product to customers and follow up on sales orders Take inbound calls to answer inquiries, take orders, and respond to customer needs Liaise with sales and support staff to keep them up to date on customer needs Escalate issues to the customer service 2IC or sales team when required About you
Eagerness to Learn: We are looking for someone with a drive to learn; from systems to processes to our large range of products and industries.

Ability to multi-task: No two days are the same.
We work at a fast pace and often encounter tight deadlines.
You will have demonstrable experience in working to an excellent standard when under pressure and being able to prioritise deadlines.

Well-developed communication skills: You will be communicating and building relationships across all levels within IMCD.
