Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty. Ltd. is seeking applications for highly motivated Mechanical or Electronics undergraduate students to join our cross-domain computing solutions department on a maximum-term part-time contract for 12 months commencing in January 2025.

As a member of our student group, you will be studying either mechanical or electronics engineering and be in year 2 or 3 of your degree OR hold a diploma or technical certification in electronics or metrology.
You will additionally be able to demonstrate the following to a high level:
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal including a strong focus on customer and stakeholder relationships.Excellent attention to detail, be able to prioritise multiple tasks, work well within a team with senior engineers while also working effectively individually.Have a strong interest in innovation and be open to opportunities to utilize learnings from your degree.Proficiency in MS Office.Knowledge of SAP systems and ISO17025 standards (desirable).Knowledge of metrology or experience with capability studies (desirable).Some of the tasks that you would complete in this role are:
Coordinating external calibration packing and returns.Leading external calibration tasks and driving process improvements.Suggesting and participating in calibration improvement projects.Supporting the calibration process owner with process tasks and discussing metrological requirements with equipment owners.Assisting with problem-solving related to calibration issues.Attending quality and calibration team meetings.If you would like to kick start your career and be part of the Bosch family, send us your application.
