As we continue to innovate and grow, we're seeking a talented Procurement Advisor to join our team for the exciting Western Downs BESS Stage 2 project. ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an office-based role, with occasional travel to project sites required.
You will oversee procurement activities for our BESS project, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and timely delivery to meet project objectives.
Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating procurement packages with stakeholders such as SCQ package leads and site engineers. Driving decision-making with the Project Manager and ensuring project specifications are met. Monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring procurement timelines align with project milestones. Conducting regular site visits to ensure smooth operations and compliance with procurement processes. Participating in vendor evaluations to continuously improve processes. We're seeking someone with: Extensive experience in complex procurement environments, particularly within the construction or engineering sectors. Strong knowledge of procurement aspects in SAP and manufacturing resource planning systems. Exceptional leadership and decision-making abilities, with a track record of driving efficiency and cost control. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Note: Relevant screening checks, including a national criminal history check and pre-employment medical assessment (including drug and alcohol screening), will form part of the recruitment process.
