About the Role Due to recently awarded long haul fibre projects with some of Australia's biggest Telecommunications carriers we have a new opportunity for an experienced PMO Manager to join our team in either our North Sydney or Campbelltown offices.
You'll establish and manage the Project Management Office, aligning projects with our organisational goals and best practices. Driving project success, enhancing project delivery capability, and facilitating a robust reporting framework to provide transparent and comprehensive updates to stakeholders will be key to your success.
What you'll be doing Providing strategic planning and direction to the PMO team, monitoring project progress, and resource allocation. Overseeing and adjusting project schedules and cost estimates to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Liaising with clients for change management, assessing their impact on projects. Regularly reviewing and evaluating project progress for alignment with the project plan and providing comprehensive reports on project status and metrics to stakeholders. Advising and implementing project management best practices and processes, and ensuring all projects comply with project management standards, methodologies, and best practices. What we're looking for A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, or a closely related field. About 10 years of experience in a PMO role within project operations or a complex multi-project environment. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle and ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously. Expertise with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Project Management software, like MS Project & Power BI for creating dashboards and reporting to enhance transparency and strategic planning.
