As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's operational strategy. You will leverage your exceptional leadership, strong analytical skills, and operational expertise to drive efficiencies, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a high-performing team. Your collaborative approach, strategic mindset, and critical thinking skills will support the company in achieving its long-term business goals while maintaining the highest operational standards. What are the key duties? Develop and execute the operational strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational efficiencies, and regulatory compliance; Identify inefficiencies and implement streamlined workflows to enhance operational performance; Oversee integration of back and middle-office systems, delivering projects on time and within budget; Monitor service levels, gather external feedback, and drive improvements in customer journey development; Oversee key operational systems, including registry, unit price, and workflow systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability; Lead successful change management initiatives, supporting seamless integration into daily operations; Provide strategic leadership, set clear KPIs and SLAs, and mentor team members to foster a high-performance culture; Ensure regulatory compliance, establish robust risk management processes, and oversee audits to maintain operational integrity; Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers, managing relationships to achieve operational excellence. Experience that would set you up for success: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; Minimum 10 years of experience in operational and fund management roles within financial services is preferred; RG146 certification; Demonstrated experience in managing operational change, system integration, and team leadership; In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting fund operations, including RG 97 and RG 274; Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee complex operational projects; Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation; A proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving business outcomes; Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
