Job Description Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters. Planning and managing quality, safety, health and environment issues on projects. Risk identification and management. Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout the project. Project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan. Advising upon the procurement of contractors and consultants. Co-ordinating with the overall cross-functional project team. Managing the change control process. Monitoring and advising upon project finances. Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications. Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports. Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages. Stakeholder management, understanding client key requirements and communicating/reporting accordingly. Managing the tender process and producing tender recommendations. Marketing and business development activities. Internal management activities including financial management and quality processes and procedures. Qualifications Relevant industry qualification noting that we often take a wide view of relevant experience for successful project managers. Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field or project management, or relevant industry experience in building services and construction (Builder, Contract administration, Electrical, HVAC, Security, BMS, Fire, Hydraulic, etc).
