Senior Project Officer | 5+ Month Contract | Up to $115.50 p/h incl. super $90 - $100 p/h + super5+ month contract (Can start before Christmas)Parramatta/Predominantly RemoteAbout the Role We are looking for a Senior Project Support Officer to join a large NSW Government Agency and play a key role in the delivery of innovative traffic signal and camera systems across New South Wales, including red light speed cameras, school zone cameras, average speed cameras, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performance team, driving the success of essential technology projects while working with a range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Project Support: Assist in the design, scoping, procurement, delivery, and operational stages of various traffic and technology-based projects.Admin & Coordination: Maintain project updates, manage multiple tasks, handle administrative duties, and manage contracts for camera vendors.Contract Management: Organize road occupancy licenses, environmental reviews, and other necessary documentation.Leadership & Communication: Be assertive in chasing project managers and contractors, ensuring tasks are on track and deadlines are met.Governance & Reporting: Manage financial reporting via Excel, Gantt charts, and maintain governance compliance.About You Experience: Previous experience in project support within civil construction, utilities, or technical environments (e.g., CCTV, traffic signals, sensors) is preferred.Skills: You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities.
