Job Description Provide confident leadership and play an instrumental role in the growth of the ACT business unit in line with the business vision. Lead the delivery of a bundle of projects. Previous experience working on construction projects for Government agencies such as Dept of Education, Defence and Health will be highly desirable. Ensure all deliverables are peer reviewed and produced in a timely manner. Manage Client expectations through excellent communication. Always maintain the highest standards of Governance and Quality Assurance. Apply commercial acumen to projects and support the client through the decision-making process to deliver a project that not only provides value for money but also delivers a sound commercial outcome. Play an instrumental role in developing winning bids, networking, expanding brand awareness, and generating new opportunities for the business unit. Manage teams (Senior Cost Managers and Cost Managers). Manage projects profitability, invoicing, and commercial performance fee variations. Externalise within the local property market to raise company profile and secure new opportunities to meet the target budget. Play an active role in bid writing. Play an active role in all activities related to business administration, both internally and externally. Take ownership of workload and utilisation planning. Attract local talent and grow the local team. Integrate with leadership and delivery team in ACT and the Cost Management Business. Qualifications Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar. Sound experience in cost planning in Construction, Education, and Healthcare government projects. 10+ years of experience in cost management roles with emphasis on consultancy roles. Has managed clients, contractors, and consultants directly in previous roles. Preferable RICS and/or AIQS accredited. CostX experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
