Turf Contract Manager

At Green by Nature, we are responsible for maintaining sports fields, cricket wickets, private andpublic green spaces to a very standard.As our Turf Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of turf and garden management, quality control, staff development and compliance throughout our facilities.You will work closely with clients and internal staff to ensure that all turf and garden related contracts are executed efficiently and effectively. Your extensive knowledge of turf management practices, business development as well as your strong organisational and leadership abilities, will be key to your success.You will have a strong background in turf management, with demonstrated experience in leading staff, managing deadlines and providing high quality results to clients . You must be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, through all communication channels, have a keen eye for detail, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of turf management and maintenance contractsEnsure ongoing improvement to client grounds and gardens is identified and carried outEnsure quotes for clients are prepared within the time frame agreed with clientDevelop and maintain accurate records of turf maintenance activitiesEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulationsCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of contractsSupervise and provide guidance to turf & horticultural maintenance staffProvide training opportunities for Site Managers and Team Leaders to develop in their roleSupport Contract Managers and Site Managers and team leaders with the preparation of reports for sites as requiredEnsure all employees in their teams are inducted and receive ongoing on the job trainingRelationship building and customer relationship managementKey RequirementsA qualification in either Horticulture or Sports Turf Management is essentialProven experience in turf management or related roleExcellent organisational and project management skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectivelyProblem-solving and decision-making abilitiesA positive attitude towards working safely and a commitment to upholding our company's health and safety cultureFull driver's licenceFull working rightsWhy Join Us?Contribute to a rewarding role, helping to maintain community spacesReceive tool of trade vehicle, laptop and phoneBenefit from a performance-based salary reviewed annuallyAccess to internal and external learning and development opportunitiesOngoing safety training programs and resources availableOur Team & CultureDiscover Green by Nature, our purpose is to enhance lives by constructing, nurturing, and maintaining exceptional green spaces.
