We currently have an opportunity for the right person to join our team as a Delivery Truck Driver.
The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and delivery of stockfeed in a safe and timely manner.
The role will also require assisting in operational roles as needed.
Key Responsibilities:Loading and delivery of stockfeed.Assisting in operational roles as required.Preferred Attributes:HC Truck License with impeccable driving record.Fork Lift License.Minimum 5 years experience in loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating a heavy vehicle.Understanding of quality and food safety requirements.Experience working in logistics and warehouse-based operations.High standard of good quality workmanship.Strong mechanical aptitude to carry out minor and preventative maintenance tasks to regularly monitor and maintain dedicated fleet.Sound communication skills.Demonstrated problem-solving skills.Ability to work shift work and flexible hours.Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.All correspondence will be dealt with in strict confidence.
