Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Vehicle Body Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dismantling and rebuilding heavy vehicle bodies, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:Dismantle and rebuild heavy vehicle bodies, including truck bodies and parts, subframes and assemblies.Install subframes, trays, body accessories, and other structural elements, including articulated equipment.Perform cutting, shaping, and welding of metals and other materials to create vehicle bodies, using hand tools and welders, oxy and power tools.Diagnose and report structural issues for approval, then perform necessary repairs to comply with Australian standards and company vision.Customise and modify vehicle bodies to meet specific client requirements.Inspect and report on defects in vehicle bodies.Requirements:A relevant trade qualification or three years or more of suitable experience.A current driver's licence (Manual) is desirable.The ability to work well in a small team and take pride in your work.Excellent attention to detail and good work ethics.About the JobThis is a full-time position that requires at least two to four years of relevant experience. Experience as a Vehicle Body Builder is essential.
Compensation and Benefits:The salary for this role is $74,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year.
