TRILITY is seeking a proactive Process Controller to join the Operations team in North Queensland.

The role As a Process Controller, you will be accountable for the performance of the water treatment plants and projects. You will be capable of working on your own and assuming total responsibility for plant operation. You will be based at our Douglas water treatment plant in Townsville, but you will also rotate through our Northern water treatment plant at Rollingstone.
The role also requires the flexibility to be a part of an on-call roster system and the willingness to respond immediately to telemetry alarms during all non-working hours when on call.
Key responsibilities Ensure TRILITY systems for Safety, Quality and Environment are used and that all activities undertaken comply with approved plans. Process control including ordering of chemicals and receiving deliveries, verifying documentation and liaising with the client on demand and flow changes. Monitoring of plant performance including all process equipment and responding to plant and process alarms. Undertake maintenance activities (both planned and unplanned). Project management duties including liaising with suppliers and contractors, procurement of goods, materials and services, supervision of contractors, commissioning, risk assessments etc. Conduct sampling and analysis and also liaise with external laboratory as required. Keep up to date record across all areas. Assist in the commissioning of new plants as necessary, including testing of plant equipment and verification of plant performance. What we are looking for Experience in operation and maintenance of water or wastewater or similar facilities. Familiarity in use of PC's and a range of software. A current Australian Driver's license. Be able to work a 1 in 3 on-call roster. Possess a high level of maturity, with the ability to make decisions with minimal direction and guidance. A reliable team member and be an effective communicator with good interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time. Able to work independently for long periods. Cert 3 in Water/Wastewater operations highly regarded. Why TRILITY?
