Lives Lived Well offer a variety of community and residential Alcohol and Other Drug programs throughout Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia, helping thousands of people every year to navigate AOD related challenges and move forward in life.
A new 28-bed residential rehabilitation centre is opening in Bundaberg. This facility will provide withdrawal support (detox) and residential rehabilitation services in a safe and supportive environment, aimed at promoting lasting change.
We are looking for several full-time Treatment Facilitators to join our team. These roles will undertake case management, AOD counselling, and facilitation of group programs. The salary is $97,000 – 102,000 plus Superannuation. We offer Salary Packaging to increase your take-home pay plus a huge range of discounted products via Perkbox.
The service will be operational in February 2025, so preferred start date for this role is mid-January 2025 (with some flexibility offered).
What we are looking forHaving experience in the AOD sector- either in community or residential rehabilitation - you will have an open and friendly demeanour with the ability to build relationships across a broad range of people.
Other skills and experience you bring will include:
Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical practices and working effectively within these frameworksHigh-level record keeping and note taking skills; able to create and develop detailed reportsCapacity to provide risk supervision and management including complex and dual diagnosis behaviour managementAble to think outside the box and offer ideas and suggestions for system and process improvementA calm approach and mature demeanour – along with patience and resilience, and the ability to relate effectively to a range of people, often in times of high-stress and emotionSelf-awareness and emotional maturity – you won't be afraid to ask for support when you need itYou'll self-care – this role can be challenging and it's important to us that you are at your best, to do your bestTertiary qualifications in a relevant field including Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or similar would be highly regarded, but more importantly you will have passion, commitment, and a great attitude with a genuine alignment to the Lives Lived Well values.
