About the Role
Base Location: Perth or Glasgow
Salary: £37,075 - £43,063 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Secondment or Fixed Term Contract (12 months) Full Time Flexible First options available
At SSE we have an excellent opportunity for a Treasury Analyst, a challenging and rewarding role which offers you the chance to gain hands-on financial, operational, and analytical experience in a fast-paced environment.
In this 12-month fixed-term contract you'll support both the SSE Group and our managed Joint Ventures, playing a vital role in building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication across the business.
Working closely with teams across SSE, you'll gain valuable insights into our financial operations and make a meaningful impact within a key function of the organisation.
The key duties and responsibilities in this role are:
Managing the daily cash position for the SSE Group and Joint Ventures to ensure they are fully funded and can meet all payment obligations.
Calculating and validating monthly trade settlements, liaising with external counterparties to resolve anomalies.
Managing the daily payment requirements from across the business to ensure critical payments are made in a timely manner.
Building and maintaining good working relationships internally and externally.
Taking ownership of issues ensuring they are identified and resolved effectively and efficiently.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
Experience of working in a finance environment, ideally with knowledge of cash management.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
A natural ability to work with multiple stakeholders, adapting to support diverse business needs.
Strong communication skills to foster collaborative relationships across teams.
Proactive problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented approach.
