AMD have five offices located in Bunbury, Donnybrook, Geraldton, Mandurah, and Margaret River.
About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant/Client Advisor to join our AMD Southwest team. The ideal candidate will have a desire to be a valued member of the team and take ownership of their own client base, with the ambition to grow within the firm.
You will be involved in a range of accounting tasks and client advice, including:
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for medium to large businesses including companies, trusts, and partnershipsClient engagements and advicePreparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individualsPrepare, oversee and advise on BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax, and statutory reporting requirementsAssist to manage client relationshipsLiaise effectively with external and internal stakeholdersMentor and review work for junior members of staffAbout you: To be successful in this role, ideally you will have the following experience and attributes:
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related fieldMinimum of 5 years experience in a similar roleCA / CPA QualificationStrong technical skills in tax compliance, financial reporting, and advisory servicesA dedicated client service focus with a passion for building long-lasting relationshipsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA desire to be a valued member of the team and take ownership of your own client base, with the ambition to grow within the firmCurrent driver's licence with own transportNational police clearance no older than 3 months or be able to obtainThis role is advertised as Full-time; however, part-time will be considered. AMD provides flexible working hours, with flexible start and finish times and the ability to work from home.
