Job Description Your new role The Travel Coordinator will be responsible for managing travel arrangements for staff, patients, and visitors associated with the primary health service facility.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all travel plans comply with facility policies while maximizing cost-effectiveness and convenience. Key Responsibilities: Travel Arrangements: Plan and coordinate all travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and transportation for staff and patients. Assess travel needs and preferences to tailor arrangements accordingly. Ensure compliance with facility travel policies and budget constraints. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for travel inquiries from staff and patients. Communicate effectively with travel agencies, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth travel experiences. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of travel itineraries, expenses, and reimbursements. Prepare and submit travel reports and documentation as required. Budget Management: Monitor travel expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist in the development and management of the travel budget. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in travel coordination or administrative support, preferably within a healthcare setting. Familiarity with travel booking systems and tools. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and travel management software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation. Adaptability to changing environments and priorities. Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with occasional travel to assist with patient transport or facility needs. May require extended hours during peak travel periods or emergencies.
