Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.
Grocery services include the provision of warehousing services and an integrated transport strategy interstate and intrastate for large supermarkets and retailers with a diverse product range.
Toll Grocery division is searching for a Transport Supervisor to support our partnership with Coles at our Jandakot site in WA. This role will see you being responsible for managing customer relations by ensuring Toll drivers and operations staff are exceeding standards and KPI's.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will work on a 4 day shift, working Wednesday- Saturdays. You will be working the Afternoon shift, starting at 1pm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overall resource and labour planning to meet customer requirements. This role is a fantastic entry point into Toll Group and will be a great fit for someone who is hungry to cross train and progress in their career.
As the Transport Supervisor, you will: Plan and manage labour to meet the day to day service level targets, and exceed customer expectations.Champion safety and ensure all drivers and operational staff follow OHS and site safety requirements.Promote a customer first mindset and ensure the daily operation is maximising profitability by linking management goals with practical means of achievement.Be a team focused player and assist others with their objectives, including developing junior staff.Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:
2+ years in fleet and driver management within the transport industry.Strong history in safety and compliance in order to communicate regulations and ensure a high service standard.Excellent customer service skills, with a customer first mindsetQualification in Transport/Logistics highly regarded but not essential.What moves you?
