Position Summary: As Transport Planner in the team, you will help deliver on a range of projects in the areas of transport planning and modelling across PBUs/clients in the transport infrastructure and built environment sectors.
Key Job Areas: As a member of the Transport Planning team, you will be responsible for:
Working on traffic and revenue forecasting studies and modelling projects. Organising traffic surveys and data analysis. Assisting in transport model development. Tasks may include but are not limited to network building, checking, and analysis. Delivery of assigned tasks to timescales and budgets. Assisting in the preparation of technical reports. Continuous improvement in various aspects of transport planning. Working to a high technical and quality standard. Required Skills and Qualifications: Masters in Transport Planning/Engineering with 4 - 6 years of professional experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Experience in traffic and revenue forecasting studies and knowledge of developing transport models. Geographic information system (GIS) expertise (MAPINFO and ARCINFO) will be of considerable value. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly MS Excel. Ability to work well in a team environment and independently with limited supervision. #J-18808-Ljbffr
