Position: Transport Planner
Shift: Rotating Days and nights including weekend days
Schedule: Week 1 - 3 days, Week 2 - 4 days, Week 3 - nights

Role Summary: Due to increased growth in the business, we are looking for an individual to join a fast-paced team as a Transport Planner based at the Purfleet depot. The role entails the efficient planning of drivers' delivery schedules and updating plans to fit the business's needs. They are a highly ambitious, forward-thinking, and innovative family business.
Responsibilities: Manage the delivery operation process efficiently from order acceptance to order invoice. Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork. Provide the best customer satisfaction with prompt response and drive innovation in efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Prioritize workload and deal with a demanding transport plan, planning for multiple customers for next day and same day deliveries. Meet transport legislation commitments. Promote, and adhere to, good health and safety practices. Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with our Fleet Department. Continue own personal development to keep abreast of technical, legal and training best practices. Liaise with customers to help facilitate best practices for them. Experience Needed: Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks using your own initiative at the same time. Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph, and Transport legislation. Ability to prioritize own workload but also be able to work as part of a team. Must have analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail. Conversant in IT skills e.g., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CRM systems.
