This pivotal role is required to improve network effectiveness via the strategic review and implementation of agreed initiatives and to ensure that all service delivery standards and compliance obligations are achieved while actively driving change to manage costs and network improvements.You'll alsoOversee day-to-day transport operations across the SA region (semi and rigid transport operations in the region)Develop and manage initiatives to enhance the Deliveries Division within Transport and VansCollaborate with network to optimise operations (24hr operation)Manage costs within approved budget to drive cost-saving initiativesEnsure high service and financial performance standards are maintainedContinuously enhance operational processes to improve customer experienceFoster a safety culture through the implementation of safety plans and strategiesLead, mentor and develop a high-performance team to deliver customer-centric results and uphold behavioural pillarsAbout youYou'll be a leader motivated to bring out the best in people, demonstrating a proven ability to uplift and inspire teams.
